Vandal Setup

 

Welcome to the
University of Idaho

As a student, you are automatically provided with one University of Idaho account, called the "NetID." To go through the initial setup process you will need access to a phone number, or email address, provided on your admission application. If you did not provide this information, or need assistance going through this process, please contact the ITS Help Desk by phone at (208) 885-4357. Our Office hours are Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm Pacific Time.
Your University of Idaho NetID Account:
  • The NetID provides access to all University services including Registration, Student Computer Labs
    BbLearn, Office 365 Email (@vandals) and more.
How to set your initial account passwords:
  1. Start the password reset process at help.uidaho.edu.
  2. On the account lookup page, enter your student id number (provided in your admissions material), or the email address you provided on your application.
  3. A six-digit code will be sent to your email address, or phone, to verify your access.
  4. Once verified you will be dropped immediately on the "Change Passwords" page. Be sure to record your NetID, @vandals email address, and new password.
How to access your @vandals.uidaho.edu email:
  1. Go through the NetID password reset process.
  2. Connect to the vandals.uidaho.edu web page and login with your email address and NetID password.
